The Foundation for Volhynian German History and Culture exclusively supports the educational and museum activities of the Volhynian Resettlers Museum in Linstow. In accordance with its charter, the foundation promotes projects on the history of the Volhynian Germans with the following priorities:

• Educational programs for children, youth, and adults
• Basic academic research
• Raising awareness about migration, flight, and displacement
• Strengthening ties with people and institutions in the resettlement areas in Ukraine and Poland
• Collection of eyewitness accounts

The foundation is a non-profit trust foundation and was established on October 31, 2022. The foundation’s assets stem from a generous donation by Ms. Hilde Jöllenbeck, née Hartwig, whose family originated from the Volhynian village of Marynkow.

In accordance with the founder’s wishes, donations and endowments are welcome. By making an endowment to the foundation’s core assets or supporting individual projects, you can provide lasting support for the foundation’s mission and thus contribute to the preservation of its educational and museum work.
The foundation has been recognized as a nonprofit organization by the Güstrow Tax Office. For all donations, we will automatically send you a donation receipt after you provide your address.
