Join the Linstow Local Historical Society and support our efforts to preserve our history!

Since 1993, the Heimatverein Linstow e.V. has been promoting the history and traditions of the Volhynian Germans who fled to Germany at the end of World War II. At the heart of our volunteer work is the preservation of the Volhynian Resettlers’ Museum, which uses a diverse collection of everyday cultural artifacts to convey a vivid picture of the migration, settlement, and way of life of the Volhynian Germans.

The eventful history of people who originated from what is now western Ukraine offers many points of reference for helping children and young people in particular understand the topics of flight and expulsion and learn about the causes and effects of forced migration.

In addition to our guided tours, we offer educational programs for young people and adults, such as project days, educational trips, and a variety of sociocultural events. To carry out our association’s work, we need many supporters and look forward to your participation.
