The Wolhynian Resettlers’ Museum can be reached from Güstrow and Krakow am See by taking bus number 250.

By Bike
The Volhynian Resettlement Museum is situated directly on the Berlin-Kopenhagen cycle route.

There is a charging station for up to four e-bikes.

The museum tour connects the Volhynian Resettlers’ Museum with interesting stops in the immediate vicinity. The route winds through Mecklenburg’s glacial terminal moraine landscape on the northern edge of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park. The tour is 48 km long and can easily be completed in a single day by people of all ages. The distances between the museums range from 5 to 15 km. About every five kilometers, there is an idyllic swimming spot where, with a little luck, you can also spot a white-tailed eagle.

The Wolhynian Resettlers Museum collaborates with other museums located between the Baltic Sea coast and the Mecklenburg Lake District, which offer fascinating insights into regional history. It’s definitely worth a visit!
